Great Bridge Children’s Center, LLC has been serving the community as a privately owned, state licensed provider since 1973. In 2003, Michelle Johnson was blessed with the opportunity to purchase the facility from the original owners. Having ten years’ previous experience operating a childcare program out of her home, she knows the importance of creating a loving, Christian, home-like environment while also creating a great foundation for learning experiences that prepares students for kindergarten.   Mrs. Johnson is actively involved at the center handling all day-to-day operations not only as the Owner, but also the Administrator and Director. 

Great Bridge Children's Center is a  licensed care provider through the Division of Early Childhood Care and Education (Virginia Department of Education). When you select a licensed care provider like ours, you are selecting a qualified professional in the field of early education with a commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for children by demonstrating compliance with regulations.  Licensed child care programs have two unannounced inspections per year.  Requirements include background checks, education, training/orientation, and health and safety standards.  Our maximum capacity is 91 students.
